Orange has setup a deal with Transatel which will enable them to setup new 3G MVNOs in 6 weeks. Transatel is whats called a MVNA (mobile virtual network aggregator ) and their job will be to source and sign up new MVNOs (mobile virtual network operators ) within the UK. The new arrangement means that Orange is able to introduce up to 20 MVNOs each year.

With an aggregator in place ( Transatel ), MVNOs will be able to launch in 6 weeks and the whole process will be painless and cost less than the normal route to becoming an MVNO. In July this year, 3G mobile operator 3 UK arranged a similar deal with x-Mobility Limited.
